Editor's review
This is a tool that helps you download Usenet news and help read them.
This is a Usenet newsreader with scheduler, threaded decoder, picture viewer, NZB and RAR archive extractor. That makes it a all-in-one newsreader, downloader, extraction from RAR and NZB packages. It will let you browse newsgroups and select files manually. The tool lets news items being easily downloaded and automatically expand RAR files with just a couple of clicks. Should the download connection break the utility will let you restart exactly where it was broken. The connection to the news server could be over SSL if the server should support it. Same is true of header compressions when a server supports the same. This all in one tool is able to support 64 bit article names. It has a built in picture viewer so that news items with pictures are read without problems.
Complex search rules to seek out what you need can be built by using operators like and, or and not along with the keywords. Downloads can be scheduled. When items download you could direct them to custom folders and search rules can be assigned to each newsgroups. The interface is quite intuitive and simple to use. The tool will let you launch external programs based on the name of the downloaded file. You could arrange to overwrite all temporary files for increased privacy. All of these operations are made simple by the interface. The interface is well laid out, making it easy to use; even a complete beginner should be able to start using it quickly. This is a good product, has useful features and could be handy when you are into extensive news reading, making a collection of movies, music and photographs, etc.
